Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Web Developer to join our dynamic development team. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our ecommerce portal, ensuring it is both visually appealing and functionally robust. The ideal candidate will have expertise in both front-end and back-end technologies, with a strong understanding of how to build scalable, secure, and high-performing ecommerce platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full Stack Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy features for both the front-end and back-end of the ecommerce platform.
• Frontend Development: Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js).
• Backend Development: Develop and maintain server-side components, APIs, and databases using languages and frameworks such as Node.js, Python, PHP, Ruby on Rails, or Java.
• Database Management: Design and optimize relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB) to store and retrieve product, customer, and transactional data efficiently.
• Ecommerce Integration: Implement and integrate third-party services (payment gateways, shipping, CRM, etc.) to ensure a seamless shopping experience.
• User Authentication & Security: Implement secure user authentication, authorization, and data protection features to ensure a safe and compliant ecommerce environment.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and improve the performance of the website, including load times, scalability, and responsiveness across various devices and browsers.
• Testing & Debugging: Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure the quality and reliability of the application.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality features that align with business objectives.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest web development trends, tools, and technologies to ensure our platform remains cutting-edge.

Qualifications:

• Experience:

  • Proven experience (X+ years) in full-stack web development, with a strong portfolio or examples of previous work (preferably with ecommerce portals).
  • Solid understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies.
  • Experience working with ecommerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, or custom-built platforms).

• Technical Skills:

  • Frontend: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), React.js, Angular, Vue.js, or similar.
  • Backend: Node.js, Express.js, Django, Ruby on Rails, Laravel, or similar server-side technologies.
  • Databases: SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB).
  • Version Control: Proficiency with Git and GitHub or GitLab.
  • APIs: RESTful APIs, GraphQL.
  • Deployment & CI/CD: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Docker, Jenkins, and other CI/CD tools.
  • Security: Knowledge of secure coding practices, SSL, and encryption.
  • Testing: Jest, Mocha, Cypress, or similar testing frameworks.

• Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Agile/Scrum experience is a plus.
  • Passion for building innovative and user-friendly applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with ecommerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, or BigCommerce.
• Familiarity with headless CMS or ecommerce solutions.
• Exposure to mobile-first or Progressive Web App (PWA) development.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure management (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Knowledge of SEO best practices for ecommerce websites.
